Eggs-ellent Ideas

Sorry, couldn't resist the title. I will admit - it reminds me of Mr. Burns. Being on a low carb diet, I make myself some type of egg concoction most mornings. Adding that to the fact that I have six children, and did many years in the restaurant business, I have cracked and prepared a lot of eggs over the years. Here lately when cracking eggs I always remember and remark to myself how eggs are a metaphor for life. Do tell, you say... One thing that I learned early on (after picking many a piece of eggshell out of the eggs) was that the best way to avoid eggshell in the eggs when cracking them is to just go for it. If you try to be careful when cracking them you are likely to fail. I now can (almost) every time take one hand and just crack the egg on the counter, stovetop, or pan; open, and drop the egg into the bowl or pan without a problem. Again, I learned that just going for it worked better than trying to be careful. Life lesson #1. Also, when making most eggs,
