I tried to come up with a catchy title for this one but nothing came to mind. The overwhelming evidence that the Global Warming/Climate Change hysteria is nothing but a perpetrated hoax intended to change our way of life keeps me from thinking of anything humorous. I have done many posts on this subject over the more than seven years I have been doing this blog. I have statistics, scientific reports, quotes from climatologists and scientists, etc that show that this "crisis" is total bunk. Most of these posts were from figures gathered over five years ago. At that point we had had over ten years of NO WARMING! We now are approaching TWENTY YEARS of no warming and a slight cooling! The stability (or slight cooling - depending on which figures you use) of the global temps has occurred at the same time that the atmospheric concentration of CO2 has grown to well over that "tipping point" of 400 parts per million. From WWII up until the mid 1970s (not meant to be exact...

OK - you all need to pay close attention, especially if you have bought into the man-made global warming panic. THE EARTH IS NOT WARMING!! Some facts - from the 1940s through the late 1970s global temperatures cooled. (psst - with an increase in CO2 - I'm just sayin'...) From the late 1970s - early 1980s - through the late 1990s (1997 or 1998) temperatures rose. This was the period that the alarmists used to build their argument that our use of fossil fuels and rising CO2 emissions was causing a warming of the earth's temperature to catastrophic levels. BUT.... From 1997 through last year the global temperatures DECLINED!! Yes, DECLINED!! (psst - with that pesky increase in anthropomorphic CO2 - I'm just sayin'...) This SHOULD put an end to the idiotic arguments that the goody-goody global warming/climate change disciples have been making. I am worried about one other aspect of the economic crisis we are in currently. It seems to have diverted attention from the man made global warming nuts and their attempt to take over the world's economy in the name of  "saving the planet". It bothers me when I see people mentioning their "carbon footprint" or reducing their CO2 emissions. I am all for taking care of our planet. But, this idiotic notion of anthropogenic warming of our atmosphere is rapidly becoming accepted. It is said if you repeat a lie enough it will become accepted. That is what is happening here. I have done many posts on this blog about global warming. If you have read much of this blog, you know how I feel about the idiotic pseudo-science of "global warming". (I put it in quotes because we may have some warming of our climate, but NOT man-made, and NOT anything we can control) If you follow any of the non-traditional news or do any digging beyond the headlines, you may have seen the reporting of the scandal based around tens of thousands of documents and emails from the Hadley Climate Research Unit in England. These emails and documents, although possibly out of context, contain damning evidence of a conspiracy to defraud the world concerning man-made global warming. Check out " Climategate " in a Google or anywhere else for details. I, like others, am now more convinced than ever that the whole man-made global warming thing is a hoax. I don't know where to begin, so I'll just wade on in. The anti-capitalist eco-nuts have almost (that is my optimism - in reality they probably HAVE) done it. This is taken from a news story on congressional activities. If this doesn't scare you silly, you are brain dead!! An under-the-radar provision in a House climate bill would give plaintiffs who claim to be victims of global warming a way to sue the federal government or businesses, according to a report Friday in The Washington Times. The Times reported that Democratic Reps. Henry Waxman of California and Edward Markey of Massachusetts added it into a bill they authored. The provision, which was just released, reportedly would set grounds for plaintiffs who has "suffered" or expect to suffer "harm" attributable at least in part to government inaction. The provision defines "harm" as "any effect of air pollution (including climate change)," according to the Times. As I told you in previous posts - I am worried for our country and its'/our future. But, as I said then, not for the same reasons most people are. Yes, I have severe worries about our economy. It pains me greatly to see the current government abandon the policies that have made this country great to adopt the failed system of socialism. But, that is not the point of this post. I just read where an " eminent British economist" said that we were doomed. "Why?", you might ask. Because IF the global warming continues (he missed the memo about how the earth has cooled over the past decade), IF the average global temperature rises 6 - 8 degree Fahrenheit , and IF the ice caps have significant melting (he missed that memo too - the Antarctic cap is thickening, but...), THEN there COULD be a massive migration of people the likes of which we have never seen. I do not know how many of you that will read this already have fallen for the amazing PR blitz that is pushing, no SHOVING the doom and gloom predictions of global warming. I am 54 years old and I do not remember anything that has taken hold of the public mindset as quickly (maybe the World Wide Web, but I'm not sure). The media onslaught is unprecedented as far as in my lifetime. "But we need to save the planet" is your response. B.S. is mine. Global climate change by mankind in decades, outside of numerous large nuclear blasts, is laughable. The global warming fanatics revel in the knowledge that the average citizen is ignorant on even basic science and has a perspective on history that tops out in decades. The scary thing is that global warming caused by man is now almost a universally accepted fact among the average person.
